DO MOSQUITOS SPREAD AIDS ?

Here is another myth regarding AIDS. If aids can spread through needles because of the contamination, why can`t it spread through mosquitos for the same reason?...?...

And I have the answer! (and the crowd goes wild! R.O.A.R.). lol Anyhoo, mossies don't spread aids because when they 'bite' or stick their needle into you, they use an anaesthetic which automatically causes your body to react and to 'push' blood out of the hole. The mossie doesn't actually 'suck' the blood out, rather just stay there and let it flow so there is no 'exchange' of blood.

hi,aids virus can't live in mosquitos..so don't worry..

i think it wouldn't cause I didn't heard about such cases been report so far.

They spread West Nile Virus and Typhus..don't know about AIDS. Doesn't seem likely though.

This is just another discussion that received no response unfortunately. I am not saying that we could have helped this person directly but perhaps we could have given them some advice on where to go to find the information that they wanted/needed.
