Windows XP reloading desktop icons?

Windows XP reloading desktop icons? I have noticed this happening quite often, it's quite annoying. I have Windows XP Pro SP2 and occasionally the Desktop icons will reload automatically. Usually when I minimize a window or something like that. It doesn't hurt anything, but it takes a little bit for the icons to reappear. Does anyone know what is causing this? Or is it a normal Windows operation?

So long as you are sure that your system is virus fee, this is otherwise caused by your computers system cache, basically how much memory that is being used for the icons. Follow this link that will guide you through what to do, don't be put off, it's really quite straight forward. http://articles.techrepublic.com.com...1-5164407.html I had the very same problem and this info got me sorted out, so should work for you too. All the best. Cubemaster.
