difference between FOOTBALL AND SOCCER?

Hi Depends on where you live in the World!!! Europeans, South Americans, Africans, And South Asia call Football, FOOTBALL! If you live in the USA then it is Soccer!

The reason why the rest of the World call it FOOTBALL is because the ball is kicked by the foot!!! Got to wikipedia for an explanation:- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Football There is two types of "Football" played in England.... "Rugby" with an "Oval" ball "Soccer" with a "Round" ball However, everyone now calls it Football and Rugby.

it matters what "football" your talking about. if your talking about american football than there is a lot. one equipment, 2 players, 3 the shape and size of the ball, 4 the field, 5 the rules for example you can use your hand in american football in soccer only the keeper can, 6 the goals in american football you have to get a touch down or a field goal in soccer you have to kick it in a soccer goal; well i think you get my point if your talking about football it's the same sport with a different name
