Is it possible to get sick from your cat? My cat had a fever a couple of days ago. And now I woke up with one. I hardly ever get a fever. My body is aching soooo bad. I was thinking maybe its because I kiss her alot. Not on the mouth on her furry cheek.

hmmm well if you were kissing the cat then you probably could, it sounds like its worth checking out. If your not better by tomorrow I would go to the doctors.

The list of cat breeds is quite large: most cat registries recognize between 35 and 70 breeds of cats, and several more are in development, with one or more new breeds being recognized each year on average, having distinct features and heritage. The owners and breeders of show cats compete to see whose animal bears the closest resemblance to the "ideal" definition of the breed (see selective breeding). Because of common crossbreeding in populated areas, many cats are simply identified as belonging to the homogeneous breeds of domestic longhair and domestic shorthair, depending on their type of fur.

Yes, you can. Also, if you have a cold your cat can catch it.
