You know the situation, when someone has really put your back up, whats your best ever revenge?

Revenge: it even SOUNDS ugly, doesn't it? And it is! What does revenge achieve? I don't think it even achieves satisfaction.
If you want revenge, take the Biblical advice: "If your enemy hungers, feed him; if he thirsts, give him a drink: for in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head, and the Lord shall reward you" Or to put it in the words of Jesus, "do good to them that hate you"
So many times, I have found that a smile and a soft answer turn away wrath. I have found that doing something nice for someone melts them. This gives satisfaction. Revenge only hardens both parties.

Eskarena, I have NO strength. My strength comes from the indwelling Christ. I could not do it of myself. His strength is available to all who believe in Him.

no you are talking, psychologicval warfare is my forte, as a witch ive been known to scare the crap out of people just by waving my hands, muttering gibberish and walking away. They do the rest themselves, its always fun.

The very best revenge I ever had was to do nothing. This was just recently and some-one very close to me had done something to me that was unbelievably bad I was thinking, plotting and then it came to me like a revelation let God take care of it (Vengeance is mine saith the Lord) so I sat back and just though you're going to get it. Sure enough it came back to them worse than anything I could have done that I actually almost felt sorry for them and it hasn't stopped yet. Now some friends say it is Karma all I know I did not get my hand dirty.

I think the best thing I have ever done, was just look at the person, give them a small smile and just walk away.
It kills them. Not only does it show them that they didn't bother you, it shows them that you do not care what they think. In most situations, the other person is trying to intimidate you. When you show them that they can't, it really deflates their ego.

Ok revenge is petty, small minded, silly and stupid and makes you no better than them, BUT IT MAKES YOU FEEL A HELLUVA LOT BETTER!! My best revenge was putting glue in the locks and on his windscreen wipers of my ex bf car - he had put me through three years of hell and he deserved it and I felt soooo much better afterwards! Thanks for a great discussion topic!
