Do you attract needy people?

I must have a sign on my back that says "Go ahead, suck the life out of me." I've had so many friends and acquaintances of that sort that I've pretty much cut everyone out of my life and have become very reluctant to let people get close to me. Needy people are also control freaks (even if they do it covertly). How many of you are like me? How many of you recognize that you are needy?

Hey I think I might have one of those signs on my back too, and I am person who hates saying no to people so I am always thought of when people are a little short of cash. Seems there is a few of us around.

I don't get hit up for money, just for emotional support, I get stuck doing things I really don't want to, and I learn to keep my opinions to myself. It's depressing, too because I end up surrounded by nothing but whining killjoys.

Yes, me too, I have a tattoo on my forehead saying come on use and abuse me and treat me like a doormat. They home in on me like a beacon, I attract them like bees to honey or flies to well you know what I mean. It's very hard to sort out the users from the genuine, you get suspicious and you get very cynical about people. Hmmm there's a wall up around me that is well cemented and I've got to the stage where NO, I've had enough bXXXer off, you ain't using me no more!
