He did, yes. But the ironic part is that WE also supported Sudam not too many years ago before the gulf war. We had an alliance with Iraq. :|

the fact is that the US n its secret agencies encouraged him to invade neighboring kuwait in the first place for numerous reasons

That's really not true. It doesn't have any motives, nor does the outcome support your hypothesis.

hey man u westerners dont realy get to see the real picture its a lot more complex n darker than those history books
to get an idea of what these secrete agencies do watch the movie Syriana by George Clooney.....at least i know how much CIA & Musaad stc have been active in the Government of my country & other muslim countries

i dont think so the whole weapons of mass destruction & the rest of the propaganda was just to get rid of him coz he was a threat to israel n the US supremecy in the region
