Computer Locks-up or Freezes

anyone have a idea why my Presario 700 will randomly lock up or freeze?

Your computer is infected with something. Do you have a fire wall in place and good quaility antivirus software?
Better get some if you dont. In the mean time go to
www.trendmicro.com for a free scan and removal

Thanks for your reply.
It could be a virus, But I do have a Virus scanner, and a firewall, and Spy remover, nothing is showing that I do.
The system just locks up randomaly. it could be 5 sec to 1 hr after the system is booted up.

Then you may have another problem. Mine had problems like that too. It was my motherboard melting down. Owee
But do the TrendMicro scan to double check. I use Norton 2006 but I always do a trendmirco scan too because there are always new viruses and you shouldnt expect one company to be able to keep up with all the new viruses.

Nothing better than Trend micro for online scans! I'm about due for mine too.
