Dry walling or bricks

A friend of ours, who had a huge lounge decided he wanted to divide it into 2 rooms. He got a quote for drywalling, and subsequently had it fitted for a lot less money than what bricks would have cost him. It looked really nice, and you could not tell the difference. Would you go for dry walling or do you prefer the old original bricks?

I think drywall is smarter, you can easy redesign it. :)

Can not say anything right now. I think I have to see it myself and then I can judge it .
