Interactions between different dimensional beings

I would love to hear a scientist point of view on this matter:
I am a science inclinated person; I am always trying to find a logical explanation for what people consider super natural occurrences.
Many people claim that they experience supernatural phenomenon. Carl Sagan in Demon Haunted World gave IMHO a magnificent explanation of the probable source of many of these phenomena. They range from the psychological and physical to the social.
Anyway, In one episode of Cosmos (X), Sagan described and explained why we all see all of our galaxies run away from us, and why from any point of the universe an observer will see the same.
He used the famous “Flatland” example in which he described how a 2D being would experience a close encounter with a 3D being.
It caught my attention the confusion the “Flatlander” had when he came in touch with the friendly 3D apple. For a moment , I thought Sagan had actually described what a “Flatlander” would definitely call a contact with “God” or a supernatural being.
I would love to hear opinions on how this intra-dimensional experiences would resemble what some people might say are divine interventions.
After discarding all the persons who claim having a “divine” or UFO experience from biological / psychological /social reason, Could interactions between different dimensional beings be the reason for some of these claims?

Someone once said, 'Magic is that which science has yet to explain'. I think that this is absolutely true and well evidenced by findings in science which support previously mystical phenomenon, such as the existence of the aura for example. A great writer on scientific explanations for supernatural phenomenon is Lyall Watson. He doesn't take the typical scientific stance of dismissing it all as rubbish but takes a genuine interest in trying to find scientific explanations.
Have you read Flatterland? It is a new look at the original idea based on current scientific knowledge and describes contact between 3 dimensional beings and those of higher dimensions in the same way as Flatland does with 1 and 2 dimensions.
I think its an interesting idea that this could be what is going on when people experience mystical states or see aliens. It would definitely fit with the phenomena of the 'Sensed Presence' where it feels that someone is there in the room with you. Unfortunately though, I can see no way that this could be tested or proven one way or another.

Dimensional is one way of putting it. Unfortunately, I'm not a scientist but am deeply intrigued by this idea. I just hope a real scientist would explain and discuss his thoughts on this thread as I would really like to know more about this.
