War in Iraq

It seems that iraqis were more peaceful before the invasion by US troops inspite of saddam hussein's tyranny. People are killed every single day in iraq(both iraqi civilians and US soldiers). Isn't it about time bush moved his troops out and left the iraqi's to be peaceful and happy?
