Invade Iran?

United States

Do you think Bush is likely to make the mistake of invading Iran within the year? Or even at all? It could massively destabilize the region, on top of alienating more the US allies and being simply a bad thing to do. If Bush keeps on encroaching on the sovereignties of other nations there is going to be the continued degradation of America's image around the world.

I think that the Iran situation would be better left to the United Nations, and diplomacy. The Unioted States can't afford to be involed in Afghanastan, Iraq, and Iran at the same time. Personnaly, I think that we should have finished what we started in Afghanastan with Osama, then worry about Iraq. Osama should have been the first priority, it was his leadership that destroyed the twin towers, and we should have had more forces looking for him. Hopefully, Kofi Annan will grow a backbone and do the right thing about Iran.

Kofi is already on his way out. He is being replaced by a new Secretary General soon.

i do not think bush will do that this time since most likely that he won't get the support of your congress to go with his warmongering policies. also that u.s. already alienated the u.n. and most of its allies. greetings. : )
