How would you know that a guy is on a rebound?

rebound - A rebound, in sports, refers to the ball (or other object of play) becoming freely available after a failed attempt to put it into the goal. In basketball specifically, rebound is also used as the term describing the act of successfully gaining possession of the basketball in such a scenario. it cud also be applicable in relationships

How can you say if a guy is only lookking to have a get-over-her fling? How do you think a girl could avoid to be one before The ONE? **for me its a fling when 1. if he gets serious too quickly (romance is in fast forward) 2. you're the total opposite of his ex 3.if he 'needs' you...a lot!

I can tell when he seems as though he is saying everything he can think of under the sun to get with me, and talking trash about "her" at the same time..its to the point now where the guys I know don't even try to make it seem as though they really want to be with you now anymore..they just want some to get her out of their mind for a little while and some even go back to the girl after they got with you..it just further proves my theory that men suck most of the time..
