diagnostic pelvic laparoscopy who has had one done?

my doctor is going to have me have one of these done and i was wondering if you all could tell me what to expect? I have tryed to look it up on the computer but just get very scary pic so i don't really want to keep looking. what do they do? dose it hurt? how long dose it take? will they keep me over night? will they let my hubby be in the room when they do this? so many questions with no answers.

nope i can't say that i have so what did they find out or they not just saying anything so thery just wait a tell you

they said i have a cyst and that we have to remove it and that they will look around when they do this to make sure that there is nothing else wrong.

I have not had any procedures done as of yet but I did have a cyst problem in my behind area several months ago and my doctor gave me augmentin and told me to put hot water on the area that had the cyst and that worked for me. Now I am having this cyst problem again but in another private area so I am not sure what is going on. Hopefully I will not have to go through any kind of surgery.
