I'm stumped with the frosting for the cuppies Should it be in its soft gooey form or should it hardens? Storing is such a b-i-t-c-h when its all soft But after 3-5 hrs the frosting will hardens for a bit Then when I transport them elsewhere, they turned gooey again 1. In what form should the frosting be? 2. Any better storage ideas? 3. How do I transport cupcakes out?

Well, it tastes so good when it is gooey, but it'll make a mess of your face! But I don' tlike it completely hardened either, because then it makes them seem too much like Wal-Mart cupcakes, you know what I mean? I like it somewhere in between, medium consistency. As for storage, I would suggest a rectangular container, big enough to fit about a dozen cupcakes, that has a snap on lid--Tupperware, or whatever equivalent you use. Hope this helps!

even in a erctangular box wldn't it move around and get frosting on the side of the box, or worse, on the other cuppies?

I suppose it could, but if you get one where they all just fit, it seems like they would wedge pretty well and not slide around. I don't know what to tell you about preventing the transfer of frosting from one to another... I don't know that I have had that problem. Perhaps somewhere they sell a container similar to what you bake them in, except it's for transporting them? I would check a kitchen supply store... if no one has thought of that idea yet, they ought to get on it!
