Yes, I am home schooling my children. I am teaching PreK and K. I enjoy it so far and like the ability to customize my curriculum. Thank you or sharing your experience.

It is really nice to be able to pick and choose what and how you want to teach your children. Of course there are certain things that they need to know but these things can be taught when the child is ready instead of at a specified grade level.

I do not homeschool. I really dont know that much about it actually. Do you get money from the government to help you? How does that work since we tax payers help fund public schools.

It would be nice if the government did that but they don't :(

I homeschool my two children, 2nd grade and K. My daughter also goes to charter school three times a week for a couple of hours at a time. She takes science and spanish there. Since she goes to a regular school during those times, she gets credited through the school district, which I think is nice too. The rest of her subjects are taught by me using a christian curriculum.
My son uses K12 program online and we really love it. He is also registered through the school district but does all his work at home.
Thanks for the topic.

I homeschool my daughter. This is the third year. I homeschooled kindergarten and first grade and she is in second grade now. I love it and wouldn't ahve it any other way. I have a young son and I plan to homeschool him too when he is old enough.
