The best idea would be to do a quick search on the internet, like many countries Australia is just too big and too diverse to try and narrow it down to give a response here. Search things like its culture, landmarks and heritage etc - I live in South Australia and think it's a great place but I couldn't tell you half of what you'd learn if you did some quick research :-)
