I had brain surgery

Well, you know that old saying, "You need that like I need a hole in the head?" Well, I can't say that anymore. Yes, I did need a hole in the head. I was born with Hydrocephalus and in July 2005 I had brain surgery at UCLA Medical Center. I did not want a shunt put in so they did what's called a 3rd ventriculostomy. Basically, they drilled a hole in my skull and punched a tiny hole in the membrane that surrounds the brain. It made a natural drianage point and I've done pretty well since then. It's kinda cool to be able to say I had brain surgery. Anybody else have brain surgery? I have a picture of my head at home that I will post later.
