What will you be doing next year this time? A method to reach your goals.

Whatever your goal is, finding a meanigful life, better relationships with others, having an income that can support you and your family, doing volunteer work or giving to a non profit organisation, you can use a simple method to make things happen. Think what you really want. No need to be realistic, just think what you really would like to have and do. Write it down in present tense, for example: I am earning $10 000 a month. I have a great husband/wife. My kids learn important values in life, unselfishness, love, and being honest. I live in a beautiful house in Sawnee Mountains in Georgia, I have a helpfund to help orphans and abused children to find security in life. I go to Hawaii twice a year. ------- Be specific and name times, places, people, the exact volunteer work you wish to do. Write a date when this will happen. Put the paper with you goals well visible. ------- Something wonderful starts happening in our brain when we do this. Our mind begins to work against our goals and we start seeing opportunities that have been there all the time but maybe we have not seen them. We start learning from other people things that we never knew they had learnt. -------- This method is often taught on business courses but it can be used in all aspects in life. Wishing you many wonderful years to come in the future.

Sounds great, you have reached some goals already. I have to set up a goal for weight loss too.:o) --- We have also learnt that we should think BIG - and if we have BIG goals, there is always a possibility to reach at least half way and that means a lot of progress too.

That sounds like a good start, buenavida! I think I'll try this. I've already had big thoughts for this year, so all I have to do is find the right words and write them down. Thank you and I wish you a happy and prosperous 2007! Aloha!

This is a good and interesting way to set goals. I need to loose some weight again. i want to move foward and find another man later on in life and forget about my past relationships. Also work on saving money back for myself.

Yes, when you put your goals down on paper, it is easier to track the progress you have made. Everything becomes more real and looks much more possible.
