I woke up early this morning and i was watching the news and they ran this segment which i became very interested in. It is a study on Basic instincts and ABC shared a part of this morning. They had video cameras set up on a main block and paid actors to act as if they were drunk. The Actor would act drunk and walk to their car and try to get in.. And People stopped him..not alot but some people did. Then in a second one they had a lady actor with two twin daughter doing the same thing and it yielded more people trying to stop her. so i figured this would be a nice topic for discussion: would you intervene? If so would you intervene in all cases or just in cases such as the mother and her children?

I would stop them. They could quite easily get in a fatal accident with someone I care about.

I have been known to chase someone across the room, tackle them to the floor and physically take the keys from them. It is not just their life at stake here! I would either step in and prevent them from driving or let them know it is the police I am calling on my cell phone at that moment. I would not just let them walk away.
