What I mean by this is made a meal out of anything you had in the cupboard that was nearing it's Best before date so you decided to throw it all in a pan and hope for the best. I did this not so long ago, mashed potatoe, brown sauce, peas, beans, tomatoes, onions, mustard, and a dash of hundreds and thousands with a sprinkling of almonds. Did I puke? why certainly!!!

I have made a creative mish-mash meal before. Thinking, well, I like this and I like that, how about together? Some of my creations work and some don't. I always have a back-up box of mac just in case.

I once found an ancient cook book with some foods I'd never heard of and as a kid at the time, I tried to find the next best ingredients that wasn't in the books ingredients and just popped it all in a pan and it was delicious. But to this day nothing I try to do as spontaneous as that ever matches my past master chef excellence.

I found a box of macaroni and cheese and a can of tuna. I mixed it all together, and it's actually pretty good. It tastes a lot like tuna helper, only cheaper. It costs about $1 to make and it feeds two adults. That's not a bad bargain in my book.
