When I saw the Long Loom Series I knew I had to have them. So I waited for a sale at Joann's and to the whole kit for $12.00. I haven't had a chance to try them out yet. But I will definitely let everyone know how it goes. Does anyone else have the long looms yet? You use them to make blankets and shawls.

I have them,I have used them for ponchos,I haven't used them for an afghan yet. I like the small one for scarves, the gauge is smaller.

I just opened the package and read the directions. To my surprise, it's not just the same as the round one. You can make a single knit, a double knit or a circular knit fabric. There aren't many directions in the package. They refer you to their website instead. Which is great for me, but I wonder about customers who don't have internet access. Manufacturers still need to provide booklets and not assume everyone has access to the WWW.

I have the purple long/rectangular ones.
I haven't really used it yet. I should, just never seem to get back to my looms.
I always have so many things to do it seems.

I think I will stick to my regular old knitting needles. If I were to bring one more crafty item home, hubby would abandon ship.

I'm using the purple long loom right now and am making an afghan. I plan on buying the set when ever I get a chance to get to Joanns. The casting on is different from the round looms and I'm only doing the basic knitting stitch on it so far. I've been hatching plans to make a sweater on them when ever I get the set.

I do have this but haven't figured out how to use it yet. I have used the round looms and have a partial blanket so far. My daughter uses the smaller looms and has started but never finished small stocking caps.
