Is online course is beneficial for getting a job?

I have completed my graduation in 2001[B.A]. Right now i want to start my education because i want to do job but i have no job qualification thats why i want to go for online course. Problem is that i don't know about online courses. Is it beneficial for me and for my career? help me if you know plz....
