Broken cell phone or pager?

Have you ever broken a cell phone or a pager? If so how did you break them? Did you get the one you had repaired or did you just buy a new one?
I broke a pager before cause I dropped it in a toliet at a club. A friend tried to fix it but there wasn't any fixing to it.
I've broken a cell phone last year, I think its from dropping it so much. The flip part of the phone pulled loose.
Please no one word answers to this disucssion. I'll be reading and rating each response. I'll try to respond as much as I can but want to say thank you now for any responses

I don't carry a cell or pager, I do have one for emergencies that I keep in my car. But my mother in law has went through 4 phones in the last year for dropping them in the toilet. I swear every time that woman goes to the bathroom she drops her phone in the pot. I think she just does it so she can get a newer model. My husband says he is going to buy stock in them because she would make it worth it.
