The offender should have his/her license revoked indefinately. They should have to pay for all expences incurred from the accident. That of course is if the offender is found. Too often accidents like this occur and the driver is never found.

I agree with this. they should also have to pay all costs. that's a good idea..
and yeah, having the license taken away would also be good. maybe this would make people stop and think a minute before they do stupid things like this.

That is so wrong.Why would someone want to hurt a person and flee. people like that have no concience.

They should receive a jail term of not less than 30 days in the county jail, and community service.

A hit and run should get jail time.
and if the person gets killed then the person should get prison time I think..
I was hit before when I was walking to my bus stop for school when I was a teen.. the guy was in a company truck. he left the scene and came back about 10 or so minutes later.. I dont think they should be let off scott free.. if they leave there should be a punishment.
