There are following advantages of linux over windows
1. There is no virus attack.
2. Applications are developed in the linux.
3. Complex commands are used to create a complex task.
4. Multiuser.
5. Multitasking.
6. Timesharing.
7. It is free of cost avaiable in market and any one can edit the options in it as the requirement.
What do you think? IF anybody can share anything more, they can well share for the benefit of masses.

Hi,
Agree. Are there any more advantages. Can you elaborate. If linux is multiuser and why it is not so famous as compared to windows from customer point of view. Everyone knows at least the name of windows but linux % is very rare.

Yeah, linux it free to edit. So, we can make our own linux distro. But, I think linux still can infected by virus, but not very dangerous like virus that attack windows operating system.

1.) There are viruses, but they are in extreme rarity.
2.) Applications are developed in windows in about the same abundance as Linux.
3.) I can do some complex stuff on Windows too.
4.) Windows can be multi-user.
5.) I definitely Multi-task on my windows machine.
6.) Timesharing/Mutli-tasking... same thing... Windows can do it.
7.) Windows does cost something, but it's 1000 times more user friendly than the majority of Linux platforms now days.
I'm not anti-Linux or anything, I'm all for it. Just don't bash my windows. It works great for millions of people that have the simple knowledge of how to protect the windows operating system.
