Who will be the Suns 8th man?

At this point in the season it is clear who the first seven men in the game will be for the Phoenix Suns. The two-time MVP Steve Nash, the feisty Raja Bell, "the Matrix" Shawn Marion, Boris "3D" Diaw, Amare "STAT Stoudemire, "the Brazilian Blur" Leandro Barbosa, and old dirty himself Kurt Thomas. After that the line up becomes a little iffy. Realistically the Suns have four options: James Jones who played a nice sized role last season, but unexplainably is only shooting 25% this season from the field. He is an above average rebounder and defender, but clearly the offensive game he perfected with Reggie Miller is now completely gone. Jumaine Jones who for a short stretch played very well off the bench for the Suns this season but lately has been benched in favor of JR (James Jones). His shot is more accurate than JR's thus far but it seems as though JR is the superior athlete. Marcus Banks is best known for his speed and defense. He doesn't replace Nash well but usually presents a different type of a guard when he enters the game (less efficient offensively, but more accomplished defensively). He is an inferior ball handler, but young and may have the ability to improve. Jalen Rose is the veteran. No question in his prime he would be the obvious choice (he might even be starting), but those days are long gone. He is still more than capable of hitting the long three and he has ball handling capabilities. My question to you is which of these four Suns will fill the key 8th man rotation spot this season (2006-07)? If you think it could be someone else (Pat Burke?! hehe) say so. If you think we need to make a move (sign a player, make a trade) say so. I'm just looking to get some interesting conversation going amongst NBA fans.

it would be jalen rose. his experience would really help phoenix in the playoffs. suns no longer need marcus banks in the rotation since the three-guard rotation of nash, bell and barbosa is working quite well
