How to Start a Discussion?

I wanted to compile a list that would help people start MyLot discussions. 1. Current events - check out the BBC, NY Times, Japan Times, or your local national newspaper. 2. Do you need advice? Please don't make up situations just to get a response! 3. Post a discussion that involves an interest or hobby of yours. You will be able to find others who have similar interests. 4. Have you read an interesting book or seen a new movie? Give us a review and invite others to share their opinions. You might learn about new authors, directors, or actors. 5. Share an experience of yours. Have you ever had a life-changing experience? Do you need to warn others about a scam? We all have so much that we can learn from one another. Now, many of these discussions will not get dozens of responses. But that is ok, because you are doing your part to create meaningful discussions that require more than a yes or no answer. Also, remember to search for the discussion you plan on posting. If 300 people have posted a similar discussion you might not want to post yours. But perhaps you can put a different spin on it? Please add a response if you have additional suggestions.

Yep, we all need to be silly! I just want to add that the discussion should allow people to continue responding with sentences instead of yes and no answers.
