RAM=RANDOM ACCESS MEMORY IS MEMORY VIRTUAL CONTAINS DATA TEMPORALY.....ROM=READ ONLY MEMORY IS A MEMORY OF ONLY READ SERV FOR BOOT CONTAIN BIOS

Ram is a temporarily storage device.
Rom is a permanent storage device ,we cannot erase it,
also when we switch off the computer all the contents of the ram is erased but rom contents are nor erased rom contains non valatile datas, mostly rom is used for bios operation

Ram means Random Access Memory
we can read and write
Rom means Read only Memory
we can do only read
EPROM means Erassable programmable read only memory
we can erase the memory

OK RAM stands for Random Acces Memory, let me explain it to you. When you start a program, all the files needed to run that program are copied from your hard drive to your RAM memory and it runs from there. That's why the more RAM you have the more faster your computer runs, because for larger programs (games) the memory isn't enough to load all the files necesary and it keeps erasing and copying files that are needed to run unlike when you have more RAM it loads a much greater amount of RAM.
