Do you agree? Why?
"... it is good for a man not to touch a woman; but on account of the fornications, let each man have the woman of himself and let each woman have her own man. Let the man give the obligation to the woman, and likewise also the woman to the man. The woman governs not her own body but the man, and likewise also the man governs not her own body but the woman" (1 Corinthians 7:1-4).

Yes, I agree that it is better for a man or a woman to stay single so that they can devote their full time to serve the Lord. However, as we really are flesh, if a man or a woman wants to marry, so be it to avoid indulging in fornication which is hated by God.

Yes. To serve God, the man should not marry to avoid interference from the woman or his family. But because a man could hardly live without a wife, he better get married so that he would not commit fornications.

In Hinduism, we call it "we are the same body, same soul, and the same heart". So, the question of touch does not arise, as when one touches the other, it is, as if, a touch to his/her own body.

In the Holy Bible, husband and wife is one flesh. "Not to touch" here means to remain single as that's what God likes so that we could concentrate in our religious service to Him. Thanks a lot.

Yes I agree. It is the word of God, so it is right and should be honored and kept. God bless you.

I admire Paul's being active to proclaim the word of God. I think he was preumptious that he thinks that all men can remain single like he did.
Paul views marriage as a necessarily evil because of immorality. I think this is a narrow view of marriage.

To avoid sin by committing fornication, Paul suggests that people better marry. Marriage is honorable and should be respected. This is not a narrow view of marriage.
Being single, one can devote his/her time for the Lord and not to the needs of his/her spouse.
