Customarily it is the wife and not the husband that is left at home to take care of the children, the house and do the home chores. The responsibilty of earning a living is on the shoulders of the husband, while the wife is mastering over the house. Normally, this has been the practice of most couples. However, the tables seem to have been turned down now. With women empowerment, more and more wives have find their roles in the working world. While as the husband, some of them have accepted the new tasks of staying home and caring for the kids, doing exactly what housewives do-- cooking, tidying the house, washing the clothes, dishes, ets. Thus, came the term (whoever coined it) "house Husband". Some concerns have been raised on this matter like: 1. What are the implications of this to teh concept of "Father as the Provider of the Family" or the Breadwinner" 2. Can we consider this as an example of social progress? 3. Is this a BETTER CHANGE or a BITTER CHANGE?
