Is this a pitiful town or what?

Where I live, we only have one hospital. We had two until they decided to join and become one. Now they are always understaffed. There are so many people that die because of this. Most of the time, they only have one ER doctor. If one at all, becuase lots of times the ER doctor has to be called from home. When you get called back you're waiting in a room for hours upon hours. Sometimes they forget about you and you have to remind them. For example, one ti,e I went the nurse got ready to discharge me thinking I had received pain medicine, when I hadn't. I waited for 12 hours in the back before deciding I'm out of here. There are lawsuits pending and will probably be many more. They are short on nurses also.Is this pitiful or what?
