I have a german sherperd that stays inside and in the past 2 months, she has began snoring. It's bad, because she snores loud! I know when humans snore it's usaully because they have breathing problems. Does it also mean that my dog is having problems breathing? Do any of you have this problem? If so what do you do about it? Or is there even anything that can be done about it?

have you guys consulted your vets about snoring dogs? i haven't encountered these situation though but one time one of our small dog had colds i think and she really sound bad, if you'd not know you'd thought we have a pig in our backyard cause she really sounds like one, good thing though now she's fine.

I have two dogs and they both snore really loud. And of course, they have to do it in my ear. Our little one, Trixie, gets up and sleeps on the pillow and starts snoring away. And then she does this crazy shaking thing and wakes me up. I just wake her up and tell her she is having a dream and make her move. Our other dog, Blackie, snores so loud! We live in a two story house and our bedroom is upstairs. While I was pregnant with my son, I would close the dogs in the bedroom with my husband and try to sleep downstairs in the recliner because it was best for my back. Well, I would still hear my dog snoring! We've asked the vet about it and he says there is nothing we can do about it. I guess we are just stuck listening to them snore.
