who knows how to play backgammon? online or for real?

I like to play backgammon I play it mostly on the internet. Sometimes I play with my kids for real. From the board games I think that is the best game of all board games. My other favorite game is chess. I play chess on the intenet too.

Playing across a table from someone in real life takes a different kind of skill from playing online. Face-to-face games don't offer you an pip count ... you have to figure it up yourself. You can also read you opponent's expressions and try to psyche them out. Plus the conversation is better in a face-to-face game since you can talk rather than chat.

love to play backgammon on bolth sides.. live an on-line :) my mother teached me how to play .. and now I'm more good than her:D
