Why do men have a need to channel surf?

Why do they need to hop from station to station on the tv? Never staying to complete one show or program? I mean not all men are this way. My husband if he has the remote it drives me crazy. Flip flip flip....why?

my boyfriend does it too, as soon as a commercial is on, he has to change the channel to something else, then leaves that one until a commercial comes on that channel and then flips back and we have missed some of that show already.

gosh don't ya just hate it. On Friday I grab the remote at 8 PM because I won't let him flip channels when Ghost Whispers is on...lol

very nice question.. my husband does the same.. and it realy is annoying.. so when he is around i just pick a book or do something else
