Man oh man! You know what happened? I got that famous white page when I hit start discussion and so I thought it hadn't worked and backed up and re-did the discussion. Now I'm looking in my "discussions I've started" list and see it on there twice! Good grief! Is there anything I can do?

I see that!lol. At this point I do not think we have an option to delete our own or anyone else's discussions. I have double posted before, and so have many others. I now go check the appropriate tab and see if the discussion or response shows up before I start all over again. It was just your turn to have this happen.

We have all had this problem when trying to submit a response, but I have never had the problem while starting a discussion.
I should imagine that you are not the first person that this has happened to. I cannot think of any way to rectify the situation apart from notifying admin of the error. The problem now is that it would take some time for admin to respond, so if people respond to both discussions then it would not be prudent for them to delete one.

Something similar happened to me here on Mylot. It is a discussion that appears half finished and unable to receive comments. It was one of my first ones and it is still there in my unresolved discussions. I figure Mylot admins will eventually delete it. Not certain what you can do beyond contacting the Mylot staff, best wishes.

This has also happened to me with my responses, with the result that I had to add on another comment and apologise. I have also seen other posts where the poster had duplicated their discussions, so I guess the same thing has happended to them. Isn't it a pity, that there is no facility to edit or delete a post - sort of like the auctions, where a seller can edit the post if there are no bids on it. Have you tried contacting MyLot with the links to your duplicated discussion? I would be interested to know what the procedure is.

Don't worry about that, it happens to all of us. It is just a part of being a human being. So, relax.
