Is that Edit option needed in our discussions posted?

Some times even after previewing our discussion we need to edit it again for some required corrections.
In this case edit option I think is very much needed.
Do you think I should write the mylot admin?

yes it is necessary
some time we need to alter the text to improve its quality
to correct mistakes if by chance
