Mature Contents

In some of the posts I find comments which say, "This post contains contents of mature nature." What does this mean? When I wanted to add my comments to some of the topics, they were not accepted by 'mylot'. But there are comments from other users. If the contents are not allowed to be viewed, why is the topic allowed to appear in the discussions and why some of the comments are accepted and others not. What, then, is the criteria of the 'Mature Contents'? Can anyone throw some light which are the mature contents; and which ar not.
