face rash

I am actually going to a dermotologist (sp?) this Friday after thanks giving but I have this facial rash near my ear on the right side of my face. It's itchy as hell and its a reddish color. I used hydrocortisone 1% for about 3 days and it has no effect on it what so ever. I am wondering if anyone knows anything about this.

No I am sorry I would have to see it I cannot judge from not seeing it I do hope that you can get some help for this it must be very annoying.

this could be cause by anything,have you taken any medication or ate anything you are alergic to?,i broke into a rash one time an it itch an had shingles .do you feel any pain with it? could be posin ivy or poisin oak,good luck at the dr.let me know what it was
