Do you ever come across what appears to be an interesting Discussion, then you see how much there is to read -as to what the Discussion is about..And then you 'move on' to the next one, because, there's 'Just Too Much!' I'm referring to Discussions that are an entire page or more's worth of reading, just to see what the Discussion is really 'All about'!~

Usually I read the original post of a discussion and then some of the replies/comments too and many time after this I move on and decide not to post because I can't form a good opinion or it's not what i had in mind at first, I waste a lot of time this way but it's not all about making money. But as you say sometimes I come across something that seems to be interesting but the original post of the discussion is a page long, I do move on because many times I found it's just useless ranting and can be put in much shorter form, or I find it's just copy and paste material from another site/blog.

Yes..The copy/paste issue is still an issue, but it has gotten better -i think..I agree with you that many original discussion posts can be 'summarized' just a bit~

Yup! I'm with you on this one. If they can't explain/ask their question in a shorter amout of time, then I'll just back out of the discussion and move on to something else.

i do feel that sometimes people put too much information into their discussion. I do not think we should have more than one page of information as it would help keep peoples interest of the topic on hand. I try to keep mine to no more than a half of a page. Some replies are just as long as some topics are on here.

I think you make a very good point here. I always want to keep my discussion very short to make it more interesting. Remember there are so many discussion to attend be read. So, I rarely go to a very lengthy discussion. They waste time and would not earn you more mark for readind and responding.
