You can find lots of Widgets in the Internet. The following are some are my frequent Widgets sources:

I use the desktop widgets on my Macbook all the time. There are a lot of helpful ones out there. I use them mainly to check weather and stock quotes but there are many helpful system monitoring widgets as well.
