am i ungrateful or what?

my husband bought me a compact car last christma coz he said, i could go about my little business easier if i have my own car. and yet, until now, it's still sitting in the garage, unsused. i still can not find the nerve to drive it and i don't feel proud at all for finally having a car of my own. is this just nerves? or am i plain and simple ungrateful?

I think it is nerves but you need to get over that and already having a car as I remember your Discussion when you got it I would have thought would have pushed you
All I can suggest is get in the Car and get used to it get the fell of the Car and once you have got the Feel then as your Husband to sit with you and start it see how you go from there

we tried that once and ended up with my husband taking his medicine. (he's on medication for high blood pressure). sigh, am i really that hopeless?

Hey come on get out of your hole and start using the car, your husband is obviously going to feel bad about it sitting in the garage unused... after all how many people get cars gifted to them for christmas??? Cherish it and you ll feel better all the time!!!

i wish i was brave enough, otherwise, i won't be sitting here, pounding on the computer keys. i would have been out, enjoying a drive in my little car. i just get so scared when i get behind the wheels, i literally freeze!

Please dont mind me pointing you like this but u should have cooperated your husband in this matter. Its not his mistake to leave the car in garage..right?? Start to think broad and put aside the blanket of anger on him in this issue....take care and have a happy life with your loving hubby..

yeah, i know it's my own lookout to put it into use. thing is, i've recently learned to drive and i still get terrified when i get behind the wheels. my hubby keeps telling me to practice but he doesn't know the demons i have to exorcise first before i drive.
