If no one has responded to my topic in three weeks can I respond to it and ask again or something?

You and I must just think alike! This is twice you have asked something that is on my mind! I feel that I started some good discussions that were perhaps just on an off day or at an hour of the day w/ few people online. Also, it was before I had any friends. However, given the responses you have here thus far, I guess I'll hold on bumping. Seems we either don't know or have a hunch that it may be wrong to do! thanks for asking!

I had wondered about this before, myself. But I am too afraid to try it. I definitely do not wish to endanger my Mylot account, because I love it so much here and I have already made a fair amount of money that I really need. *laugh* I think that it would be nice if Mylot would automatically delete topics over 3 weeks old (or so) with no replies, so that we could repost them. I really think that sometimes it is just bad timing that ends up causing our topics to get no replies, and it would be nice to feel able to post them again. But I dno't even know if I would feel okay posting a repeat topic here on Mylot. I am afraid that I might get in trouble for it. I think that i only have one topic that no one replied to yet, though, so I guess that I'm doing okay *laugh*

if there are no responses then it wont be possible to make it live again.i dont think you can repeat the same discussion again.but i have seen so many posting the same discussions again even in a short span of time.but i feel it is against the rule.if it doesn't get response implies that nobody is interested.so try to start another which creates interest.

Hi! I have asked the same question a few times - but I changed the wording a bit so it wasn't exactly the same. It was something I really needed feedback on but didn't get it, so I kept asking until I got an answer. I don't see why you shouldn't ask your question again. :-)

I would not bother ruining my own topic if I were you, because I can figure it will only deprive you of good possible responses from members and visitors. When you feel that your started topic deserve those responses you are waiting, then be patient and have confidence on the merit of your discussions.

I thought about bumping two of my old discussions that never received a reply as well, however I'm not certain if it is against Mylot rules or not. Also if they did not receive responses in the first place, maybe they won't again. I'll be interested in following this discussion and seeing what others have to say on this. Cheers!

You don't have a reply button in that case, I think. I wouldn't advise making a "bumping account", btw :p
