Ok, so here I am at 29. Never married and no kids. Somedays I wonder if I'm missing out or should I just be enjoying my carefree existence of not having the responsibility of a relationship?

I am single with one kid and as much as I love her they really throw a wrench in being able to make plans freely. It took me a while to do so but I did find a boyfriend who wanted a monogamous relationship but wasn't wanting to settle down, get married, or live together. I can always decide to pick up and move across the country once my daughter has moved out if I like, but there is always the risk he will do the same. It would be my choice whether to go with him or not. I do think our relationship would be able to withstand being apart some though.

Lol it's bad enough here in Washington, I can't imagine being up there. I do want to come up and see the Lights sometime though.

It depends on how you see things. Some people think that having a family is what makes them useful to the world and that family support is a significant element in personal success. They relate very much to their wife and kids and gain pleasure by doing so. But some people may not even like the idea of having someone in their bedroom for more than half a day. However, people belonging to both these groups are also subject to change at any point in their life. So, what I would say would be, follow your insticts, your heart! it's not a sin to stay single.

I was just rereading your response and realizing it made a good point about the different wants of people.

The pros of being single is you can see whoever you what and have as many girlfriends as you want because you're not commited to no one. Kids grow up to headaches, so having kids is over rated. Adn you have your freedom. You don't have to listen to no one nag you if you don't wan to. The cons are you might sometimes get lonely, you don't have someone to share and do certain thigs with.
