I live in a major asian city. The traffic is immensely terrible. Much work to ease the traffic flow has been carried out daily by the polic department. However, this problem gets worse and worse everyday. I am not saying that we should not buy more cars. What I would like to find out is that is carpooling an advantage. How can we implement it more efficiently? Should carpooling be an individual effort or should the government pass a law on it? Let us hear your views on this issue. Out of the responses, I believe that members will be able to draw some good tips on carpooling.

Yeah, it is true that there are more and more people do that in my country. The higher price for oil and the higher fee for park car make people don;t want to buy a car, but if need to use a car they will select carpooling. I think carpooling can save oil and get a better use for resource, but sometimes it is diffcult to calculated the fee everyone to use it.

I totally agree with you. If carpooling is done with a healthy motive, the enviroment will also be a cleaner one. Imagine less pollution due to less traffic on the road. Not only this, I believe the accident rates will reduce too. One other reason is also that we will make better and closer friends with those we carpooled with. Don't you think this will make the world a better place to live in?
