A. 35 (Because odd numbers descending are subtracted each time; 23, 21,, 19, 17, 15, so 48 - 13 is next)
B. 72 (Too difficult to explain, lol)
C. 60.75 (11/2 times added each time)
D. 75 (1+3=4 3+4=7 added 7+4=11 added etc. Answer made from 11+18=29. 29+46+75)
E. Because 7 8 9.

Awwwwwww, thank you Cloud, but I feel a bit bad about this because........ according to your calculations, I got B wrong, with 72. Let me tell you how I worked it out... complicated, so bear with me. lol.
33+(3)=36, (3 x 2 = 6), 36 + (6) 42, 42 + (2) = 44, (2 x 2 = 4), 44 + 4 = 48, 48 + (8) = 56, (8 x 2 = 16), 56 + 16 = 72
Lol... told you it was complicated but 72 is right on that assumption. :-) Now, I feel worthy! lol

A It seems two of you have worked out A and come to the right conclusion, but worked it out differently. The way I worked it: 143=12x12-1. 120=11x11-1. 99=10x10-1. 80=9x9-1. 63=8x8-1. 48=7x7-1 therefore 6x6-1 = 35.
B Each succeeding number is obtained by adding the last digit of the preceding number. 33+3. 36+6. 42+2. 44+4. 48+8. 56+6 = 62.
On this one, two people came to the conclusion of 72 so I am wondering how you worked this one out.
C. One and a half times each number. Therefore the last number is 40.5 + 20.25 = 60.75
D. Once again I can't follow your reasoning, but you have the right answer. 2+1=3. 2+3+1=6. 6+10+1=17. 10+17+1=28. 17+28+1=46. 28+46+1 = 75.
Congratulations, Darkwing. You are the first to get them all right, so you get the best response.
