grrrrrrrr Help Mouse in the House

Oh I have been strssing out big time, I just moved my fridge to clean the floor and I went to pick up what I thought was a piece of fluff and it was a dead mouse....oooooooh this has made feel so ill. Anyone know how to keep mice out ot the house, I have a cat but that didn't seem to make much difference......oh I wish they could mouse proof a house with todays technology surely there is a way....any help appreciated...

Sometimes those mice get into homes no matter what we do but having a 'hungry' cat will keep the mice away. When we lived in the country we had mice in the house now and then and to get rid of them we had to capture a bull snake and keep it under the house. Then we never had another mouse in the house again. Creepy but it works.

how spooky, I just said to a friend last night I would rather have a snake than mice, hmmmm I don't think my neighbours would like it though :)
