Here is a funny story that I'd like to share with you. "A chimpanzee at a Louisiana animal sanctuary has given birth to a baby, despite all of the males living with her having had vasectomies." http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/6274183.stm Aren't vasectomies supposed to be irriversible?

THAT is a beautiful story. I find it funny that the mother's name is Teresa. LOL Because my real name is Teresa and I always seemed to end up pregnant when I was not supposed to be able to get pregnant! LOL I have seven children by the way. LOL I think it is wonderful how Teresa is taking care of her new unexpected baby. But it makes me wonder...why did the caregivers not realize that Teresa was pregnant? Did they think that just because she was 40 years old that she was gaining weight? I understand that the males were supposed to have had vasectomies...but it has been proven that not all vascetomies are 100 percent. There have been some cases where it was able to re-attach or grow back together. Well, congats on the new baby Teresa and thank you to the wonderful man in that community that is offering to pay for the life care of Tracy!!!! Thank you for sharing such a beautiful story. Obviously Teresa was meant to have another child!

Just goes to show that a vasectomy isn't foolproof. There was a friend of our family that almost divorced over this same thing. The couple was already in their 50's, he had a vasectomy, and she was all of a sudden pregnant. He swore she cheated on him. After the wife pleaded with her husband to get checked to see if he was producing sperm or not, sure enough the tests revealed he was. The tubes that were snipped, healed back together and were fully functioning. It has also happened to women that have had their tubes tied.
