Personally i love beaches a lot. I just dont know what drives me to the beaches i would like to hang out with family and friends on the beach. Do you also like beaches and the sound of the waves rushing on to the shore? Why do you think we like that?

I love the sounds of the waves splashing against the shore line. It is one of the most relaxing sounds. It gives me the feeling of peace and tranquilty and not a care in the world. The sounds of waves lowers my blood pressure and I instantly become calmer and want to live at a more relaxed pace. The beach is my happy place.

Oh yes, I love the beach and the ocean. It makes me feel like I'm in a far away peaceful world. It's a pity there is no beach closeby where I live!! I am afraid of going deep into the water but don't mind playing on the shore. I wish I could go tot a beach now..it's been ages!

I love the sound of the waves, when the sea's not to agitated. If there's strong wind or a storm, then I can't enjoy hearing the sea being so "mad" at the shore. But if it's calm, and it's warm and the waves calm your ears, then it's perfect.

I love the sound of waves crashing against the shore, especially when it's stormy and the sea roars. I'm lucky enough to live by the sea and on a stormy night I can hear the waves crashing when i'm tucked up in bed. I find the sound of the sea so soothing and love taking long walks along the beach. I often wonder if people like the sound of the sea so much because it's somehow reminiscent of when we were in our mother's womb and were surrounded by water, or perhaps the rhymical lapping of the waves is reminiscent of our mother's heartbeat?

a couple of years ago I was going to go to the beach and record a tape of the waves, because the relaxation tapes you buy have music on them and I just wanted the sound of the waves.,...never did get around to doing it.

I love to hear the sound of waves splashing against the shore. It is very relaxing and it can be lovely to fall asleep to such a sound. In Samoa I loved staying in an open thatched hut. I could the waves gently crashing against the shore and the wind rustling at my little wooden abode on stilts. On my local beach is is fun to watch the waves come in, crashing at the shore. They make such a lovely noise as they arrive, splash.

Hi there kritipen... :) Like you, I love the sounds of the waves and the wave itself. I really love to be bumped by them as if they're my playmates. hehehe! Silly isn't it? But, like you, I also don't know the reason behind why we are too attached with the sounds of the waves. It's just that, it soothes us..right?! I do hope we could meet and talk about it along the beach ;)hehehe
