why are some deodorants darken our skin???

guys have you tried using a deodorant that darkens your skin?? well my friend told me that she tried using once and it reallt turned her skin dark.. i told my mom about it and she said that it does not fit the type of skin my friend has so i told my friend to stop using it..i told her to use the brand that im using cause it doesnt darken mine but when she tried it still her skin darkened..well can u tell me what deodorants dont make skin dark? or is it just my friends skin that is so sensitive? can u also tell me some deodorants that are for sensitive skin?? pls help!thnx a lot... ^^
